On Fantasy Book Critic a wide-ranging interview in not one but two parts with a group of SPFBO authors, discussing their experience in the exercise. As they complete a book they will score it out of 10 and that score will be entered here. Were just starting out on Facebook and wed love to have you stop by. We LOVE her. We just plain love her. Im thinking that the reason so many writers stick to the story telling and lay it out in plain bricks-and-mortar language is that fear of putting yourself out there with a line that might just hang there like a bad smell. Its a risk, a gamble, Im on my stage throwing out lines, hoping I wont be left hanging. On June 1st we will be half-way through the first stage of The Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off. Captured moments, the smell of a place, scenes played out time and again on a small stage. When a book on creature design comes out with science in the title, it will definitely get my attention. In phase 2 each blogger/site will read (and review if they like) the nine other champions and give each a mark out of 10. The book with the highest score will be our champion of champions from the whole selection of 267 novels. If they also review the book I will link the review from the score on the table above. The reviews, the books, and the blogs are all linked on this table. It is all we are. Since the texture cached are not rendered very often I can do quite a lot of heavy stuff in them. H...
