Scooters are great for kids—they provide a way to get around, they’re environmentally friendly, and they keep you physically active! However, designing a product for children can be tricky. Developing a product targeted to a youth market involves a process that begins with developing a keen understanding of the functional and safety needs and aesthetic preferences for this important demographic group.
In this project, you will engage in the process of developing a scooter that consists of multiple assembled parts developed using Autodesk® Inventor® software. This project offers a solid introduction to many of the key features of Inventor and how the software can be used to generate virtual and physical prototypes.
