Great architectural design often starts with teams of designers sharing quick sketches of their ideas and high-level concepts to inspire each other and fuel their design creativity. In this course, we'll explore how digital tools can be used to enhance this process -- working together and collaborating with a team of fellow designers on the conceptual design for a multi-family residential community.

In this project, students work as a team to create a conceptual design proposal for a residential community on a real project site. Students will learn many techniques and workflows for digitally sketching and visualizing the key features of their team’s design, then convert the conceptual design model into a building information model to continue adding detail and further develop their design.
